Seattle has many cool neighborhoods to explore. And, there are cheap hotels in Seattle with pre- and post- Alaska cruise packages. (Cheap for Seattle.) These hotels are fairly close to both the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 and the new Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91. It’s not necessary to stay overnight next to the ship, because this city is still like a small town. Alaska Cruise Hotel in Seattle WA – Best Western Executive InnThis location is fabulous. It’s about a block from the Seattle Center (Space Needle, EMP (Experience Music Project), Ducks Bus/Boat Tour, monorail to downtown.). The hotel is close enough to walk to Pike Place Market and downtown proper. Some rooms have a view of the Space Needle and all have wifi and are eco-friendly. This hotel is updated 1960s era, though it's not fancy-dancy like some Seattle spendy hotels. The Best Western Executive Inn is fab for families and budget minded folks, and has a hot breakfast buffet. Tip: Hipsters should try the Turntable (restaurant) or Liquid Lounge (bar) at nearby EMP – Experience Music Project. (Update: the upstairs lounge is only used for private parties. Maybe it's time to watch the movie, Wedding Crashers.) Cruise & Park Package:

Cheap Hotels in Seattle – Best Western Loyal InnBest Western Loyal Inn is similar to the other Best Western, though a few blocks further away from the Seattle Center. It’s standard American motel style. Free wifi in rooms. It’s a great alternative to Best Western Executive Inn, because the location is almost as good. Cruise & Park Package:

Cruise Ship Deal – Hotel DecaHotel Deca is located in the University District, which is a totally different part of town. This older building has been renovated using contemporary art deco style. Some rooms have views of the (park-like) university and some have views of Downtown Seattle / mountains. It’s a great location, though Downtown Seattle is accessed by car or bus. It’s fairly close to Wallingford, Fremont (the center of the universe), Green Lake, and the upscale University Village which is a great place for shopping as well as just hanging out. Deca breakfast included. Park & Cruise Package:
These are great cheap hotels in Seattle with pre- and post- Alaska cruise packages. They are fairly close to both the Bell Street Cruise Terminal Pier 66 and the new Smith Cove Cruise Terminal Pier 91. People from Seatown consider both of these areas to be good.
