Luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas is kicking off 2007 by going all-inclusive.

Ultra-luxury cruise specialist Regent Seven Seas (formerly Radisson Seven Seas Cruises) has become all-inclusive, allowing it to compete head-on with rival Silversea.

Guests can now enjoy complimentary selected wines, spirits, beer and champagne at all onboard restaurants and bars, and gratuities, too, are now included in the cruise fare.

Even among the very wealthy, who typically take these cruises, the idea of not having to buy drinks fosters a spirit of friendliness, according to the cruise line.

Regent is known for its fine food and cultural itineraries. On every Regent ship there is a choice of gourmet restaurants, from Italian to Asian-fusion. In addition, Regent has an exclusive partnership with the famed Le Cordon Bleu Ecole Culinaire de Paris, which runs the ‘Signatures’ restaurants on board Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner.

The brand new ‘Circles of Interest’ are customised themed cruise programmes enabling small groups of like-minded people to experience specialist interests including food and wine, art and culture, music and health and well-being. They have been designed to offer Regent’s guests the thrill of authentic discovery while indulging their pleasures and pastimes through workshops, classes, lectures and customised tours.
