P&O Cruises' popular Oriana has emerged from dry dock with new and improved features.
P&O Cruises’ popular superliner Oriana has returned to Southampton after undergoing a major refit in Bremerhaven, Germany. One of the biggest highlights is Oriana Rhodes, an elegant new restaurant designed by British celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. The restaurant’s décor is elegant and sophisticated, and the menus replicate those of highly successful Arcadian Rhodes, Gary’s first restaurant at sea on board P&O Cruises newest superliner, Arcadia. The children’s facilities have also been refurbished (Oriana is a very popular ship for families), the Lords’ Tavern pub extended, Tiffany’s bar revamped, and casino remodelled to create the Monte Carlo Club. With the growing in popularity of weddings at sea, the Captain’s Lounge has been redecorated in suitable colours to double up as a wedding chapel, and couples will now be able to marry at sea on Oriana, with the ceremony conducted by the Captain himself. In the cabins, a blue and gold colour scheme has been introduced, and duvets and new pillows have replaced sheets and blankets. Oriana is also the first ship in P&O Cruises history to display the new P&O Cruises logo on the side of her freshly painted white hull. Visit www.pocruises.co.uk for itineraries and more information.
