Costa Cruises is introducing a number of 'firsts' in its new 2008 brochure, which sees the cruise line expanding into new waters.

Costa Cruises has launched its 2008 programme with several exciting new voyages.

Costa Marina will be setting sail between Christmas 2007 and Easter 2008 to the Indian Ocean, visiting Kenya, Madagascar, Mayotte, Reunion, Mauritius and the Seychelles on 16-day itineraries from Mauritius.

In the wake of the Costa Classica's success in 2007, the company is doubling the number of ships operating cruises in the Arabian Gulf, visiting Dubai, Al Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Oman. Between 2007 and March 2008 both Costa Romantica and the Costa Europa will depart from Dubai to discover these dream destinations.

Costa is also offering cruises in Southeast Asia on the refitted Costa Allegra, visiting China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei, South Korea and Japan. Longer, 16 and 18-day cruises will depart Hong Kong, while five different five-day cruises will sail from Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tianjin, calling at ports in Vietnam, South Korea and Japan.

The cruise line will also operate in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean and South America, offering cruises with an international clientele and an Italian flavour. For more information, visit www.costacruises.com or www.costacruises.co.uk.
