Family Friendly Hotels Close to Vancouver Cruise Terminal
- Westin Bayshore, 1601 Bayshore Dr – This luxurious resort features incredible views of the harbour, outdoor and indoor heated pools and a location that is connected to the 1,000-acre Stanley Park via a seawall. The Westin Kids Club gives every child colouring books and bath toys as well as a sippy cup or sports bottle that can be filled with beverages at mealtime.
- Pacific Palisades Hotel, 1277 Robson St –Located six blocks from the cruise ship terminal and in the heart of one of Vancouver’s prime shopping areas, the Pacific Palisades hotel is also great when cruising with kids. All rooms are decorated with splashes of colour and whimsical design, and they all have a fridge and microwave. There’s an indoor heated pool and the spa offers services for kids as young as five years old. Children also receive a bedtime snack of milk and cookies.
- Delta Vancouver Suites, 550 West Hastings St – One-bedroom suites feature floor to ceiling windows and a fridge to accommodate snacks. Children six and under eat for free and are also given an age-specific Kids Essentials Kit upon check-in. In addition, children ages 7 to 12 can eat for half price from the regular menu.
- Four Seasons Vancouver, 791 West Georgia – This AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel is conveniently connected to the Pacific Centre Shopping Mall, only a couple blocks from the cruise terminal. The Four Seasons is also a family-friendly hotel featuring a 4th floor outdoor / indoor heated pool that has a shallow end that’s only 2.5 feet deep (great for little swimmers). Young guests are treated to milk and cookies at check-in and other children’s amenities include pint-sized bathrobes and an onsite restaurant with children’s china and a special menu.
- Granville Island Hotel, 1253 Johnston St – The best feature of this hotel is its Granville Island location, close to the Granville Island Kids Market. The Kids Market features shops and services for children as well as an indoor playground with four levels of climbing structures, slides and a ball pit. There’s also a waterpark nearby and easy access to the Aquabus. The guest rooms of the hotel are spacious and contemporary and hotel facilities include a pool-sized Jacuzzi.
- Holiday Inn and Suites, 1110 Howe St – This is one of the best value hotels for families. The rooms have been upgraded with high thread count linens, plenty of pillows, and free internet. There’s a 24-hour indoor heated pool and children under 12 eat for free at the onsite restaurant.
